Paul Heyman Claims The Rock Won’t Have To Wait In Line For Title Match With Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns is the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and has been unbeatable for the last two years. For very long time now, fans have been wondering when Roman Reigns and The Rock will battle each other at WrestleMania. Paul Heyman made an interesting claim about a potential match between the two as well.

Many believe a match between the two top stars would go down as one of the greatest matches in the history of WrestleMania. Despite all the hype, the match will not be happening soon.

Roman Reigns even called out The Rock during WWE live event. While speaking on The Ringer Wrestling Show, Paul Heyman claimed that The Rock doesn’t have to wait in line to get a title shot against Roman Reigns.

“If Dwayne Johnson wants the publicity to lose to Roman Reigns, we’ll give him a title match. He doesn’t even have to wait in line, win a Battle Royal, or whatever. There’s box office there. I’m impressed with what Dwayne Johnson has done outside of WWE and I would counsel Roman Reigns that we could make a special provision to defend the title and smash Dwayne Johnson. If Dwayne Johnson wants to take that beating, he is more than welcome to step up to The Tribal Chief as long as he understands that when the match is over, he’s going to be, like everyone else, he’s going to acknowledge The Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns.”

WWE has dropped numerous hints when it comes to a match between Roman Reigns and The Rock already. It is to be noted that Ringside News exclusively reported that The Rock is virtual lock for WrestleMania 39. We’ll have to wait and see when the company will book the feud between the two.
