TNT Title Match Added To AEW Battle Of The Belts III Special

AEW is preparing for their next special show, and fans won’t have to wait long for Saturday’s Battle of the Belts. Wardlow won the TNT Championship from Scorpio Sky last month on Dynamite. Mr. Mayhem beat Man of the Year in convincing fashion, and now Wardlow said he’d restore the title’s prestige. He will have that opportunity this Saturday.

Wardlow was on Dynamite this week to make the save for Orange Cassidy after he lost to Jay Lethal during the opening match of the show. Jay Lethal issued a challenge to Wardlow for the title, and it was accepted.

The match was booked for AEW: Battle of the Belts III. Plus, AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa will defend her title against Jamie Hayter at the August 6th special.

Hayter helped Team D.M.D win their tag team match against ThunderStorm this week on Dynamite. The powerhouse pinned Toni Storm after hitting her with a devastating lariat.

AEW will tape Battle of the Belts III at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on August 5th. The show will air the very next day. Check out the card below.
