Jon Moxley won the AEW Interim World Championship at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view event on June 26th, 2022. Mox successfully defended the title against the likes of Brody King and Rush. His next opponent for the title was revealed on Dynamite this week, and he will face The Wizard.

Chris Jericho and Wheeler Yuta squared off in a number one contender’s match on Dynamite this week. The match featured plenty of action. Jericho won the match after forcing Yuta to tap out to a Lion Tamer. The Lionheart will face Mox for the title at Quake by the Lake special next week.

Plus, AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill will issue an open challenge for the title next week on Dynamite. Cargill won the TBS Championship during the AEW Dynamite debut on TBS Network on January 5th. She has had successful title defenses against the likes of Anna Jay and Marina Shafir.

Darby Allin and Brody King’s rivalry is also set to come to a head. Those two will battle in a match that literally has grave consequences. AEW will hold their second coffin match as King and Allin go to war.

Quake by the Lake special will emanate from the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on August 10th. You can read the lineup announced (so far) for the show below.
