Mandy Rose has been the NXT Women’s Champion for more than 260 days. The Toxic Attraction star won the title from Raquel Rodriquez at NXT Takeover: Halloween Havoc in October 2021.

Rose was introduced to her newest challenger this past Tuesday on NXT 2.0. The yellow brand hosted a 20-Woman Battle Royal to determine the number one contender to the champion.

Zoey Stark made a shocking return during the match and eliminated Cora Jade to win the Battle Royal. Stark will face Rose for the NXT Women’s Championship at a later date.

The NXT 2.0 star took to Twitter on Sunday and took a major shot at the Toxic Attraction star. Zoey Stark said her absence paved the way for Rose to hold on to the title.

I’m the person you should be thanking because without my absence you wouldn’t have had a long title run….you know I’m the biggest threat to your title reign!

Stark had been out of action ever since suffering an injury during the ladder match against Gigi Dollin and Jacy Jayne. We’ll have to wait and see if she manages to dethrone Rose for the title.
