Liv Morgan has seen a significant amount of growth over the past couple of years. Since 2015, she has honed her craft and truly became her best version right now. Morgan is also confident about her chances against Ronda Rousey.
Morgan won the Money In The Bank match and then cashed it in on Ronda Rousey on the same night. She finally achieved her lifelong dream and became the SmackDown Women’s Champion.
While speaking on the Pat McAfee Show, Liv Morgan talked about her match against Ronda Rousey at WWE SummerSlam. Morgan claimed that she will beat Rousey because she lives and breathes wrestling.
“I know I’m walking into my own championship match as the underdog. I know that people think that I’m only champion because I cashed in on a less than 100% Ronda Rousey. People are doubting I pull through with a Ronda Rousey that’s at 100%, and I’ve sat with this, and I’ve thought about it. Do you know why I know I’m gonna Pat? It’s because I love it more than her and I want it more than her. I didn’t grow up wanting to be a UFC champion. I didn’t grow up wanting to be an Olympic athlete. I grew up wanting to be a WWE Champion. So I’m a WWE superstar through and through that lives and breathes and dies for this business. So that’s why I’m going to survive Ronda Rousey.”
Morgan also wants to prove her critics wrong with her match against Ronda Rousey at WWE SummerSlam. We’ll have to see whether Morgan will retain her title at SummerSlam or not.
