Jim Cornette Advises Wardlow To Take WWE Contract

Wardlow has been one of the best things about AEW in the last few months, as he organically got over with fans in the best way possible. He is now an imposing force that no one wants to mess with.

Ward-Dog won the TNT title from Scorpio Sky on AEW Dynamite two weeks ago. Mr. Mayhem brutalized the Man of the Year in mere minutes. He then retained the title against Orange Cassidy on last week’s AEW Dynamite Fyter Fest.

While speaking on the Jim Cornette Experience, Cornette made it clear he isn’t a fan of Wardlow’s booking in AEW. He advised Wardlow to sign a WWE contract as he went on to list the phone numbers of Vince McMahon, Bruce Prichard, John Laurinaitis and Jeff Jarrett, which were bleeped out.

“I’m speaking directly to Wardlow right now. Here’s the best advice in your current position, here’s the only career advice I can give you. I’ve been involved with finding, discovering, helping develop or train talent for 30 years – more. Here’s the best career advice I can give you. I want you to get a pen and paper and write down what I’m saying.

Jim Cornette also blasted AEW for putting Wardlow in title match against Orange Cassidy. Wardlow said his top priority is to restore the title’s prestige by issuing open challenges. We’ll have to see what’s next in store or Wardlow.
