Cody Rhodes managed to compete at Hell in a Cell despite sustaining a torn pectoral muscle. It was reported soon after that WWE was filming a documentary spotlighting Rhodes’ return to WWE and his gutsy win at Hell in a Cell. Now, it appears that may be the case.

During his appearance on “Busted Open Radio,” Rhodes confirmed that WWE has been filming content for an upcoming documentary focusing on his return to the company and injury before Hell in a Cell. The documentary is said to air on Peacock. That being said, his recent injury setback changed plans in a big way.

Little spoiler. For the past year — I don’t know if it was a year — but since WrestleMania, WWE has been doing a documentary on me potentially for Peacock, They’ve been filming this documentary, and then my titty explodes and the documentary changed greatly.

It’s been stated that Rhodes is expected to miss the rest of 2022 due to his injury. Recent betting odds for next year’s Royal Rumble match has him as the favorite to win. Whether Rhodes will make his triumphant return before the road to WrestleMania begins next year remains to be seen.
