Thunder Rosa is one of the best in-ring female pro wrestlers in the business right now for quite a few fans. Rosa did a lot of work and honed her craft in the NWA before getting signed by AEW. Britt Baker also commented on a comparison made by Thunder Rosa in the past.
On the other hand, Britt Baker has worked hard to become one of the top stars in AEW’s women’s division. Rosa and Baker are no strangers to each other either, as Rosa beat Baker to become the AEW Women’s Champion back in March.
Thunder Rosa previously compared her feud with Britt Baker to The Rock vs Steve Austin. While speaking to Riju Dasgupta, Britt Baker stated that she could not believe Rosa would compare their feud to The Rock and Steve Austin.
“No, I think Thunder Rosa should talk the least amount as possible in wrestling and in interviews and in everything and the world would be a better place because she sounds stupid all the time when she says anything. That’s what I think [Baker smiled]. No, I don’t compare myself to people like The Rock and [Steve] Austin or anything like that. In-character, sure, I think I’m better. Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. is better than anybody but when we’re talking realistic storyline settings, I don’t think anything right now that I could do would be at that level. Someday? I hope so, maybe and I hope and pray that I can have that type of impact on the wrestling world but, Thunder Rosa, most of the time when she opens her mouth, something stupid comes out.”
Thunder Rosa is currently teaming up with Toni Storm and feuding with Britt Baker once again. It remains to be seen how their feud will be booked in the coming weeks.
