Chris Benoit jumped ship from WCW to WWE at the height of the Attitude Era. Benoit worked his way up the ranks and eventually won the World Heavyweight Championship in an all-time classic triple threat match at WrestleMania XX. Despite the tragic ending of his life, he was still considered one of the best pro wrestlers during his lifetime. Things have certainly changed in the pro wrestling world since then.

Impact Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace took to Twitter on Wednesday and responded to a fan’s tweet about pro wrestlers discussing Benoit in a professional context. This fan tweeted out to say, “It’s always wild listening to wrestlers discuss Chris Benoit in a professional context cause they always be sure to note they aren’t excusing what happened before praising his in-ring stuff for 10 minutes.”

Big Mama Pump didn’t take long to form her own response. Like anything else in her life, she approached this subject in a very bold fashion.

Benoit suffered a major setback following the death of his best friend Eddie Guerrero. He ended up murdering his own wife and child and then himself in arguably the worst incidents in pro wrestling’s history.
