The pro wrestling world has been hit by an injury plague as of late, especially in AEW. Numerous wrestlers, including Adam Cole and Kenny Omega, are currently on the shelf due to injury. It looks like another injury has hit AEW.

AEW star Santana was part of the Blood & Guts match between Jericho Appreciation Society and Blackpool Combat Club. The match capped off this week’s Dynamite.

The Proud and Powerful member entered the match and immediately took out members of J.A.S. However, his leg buckled performing a uranage. Santana couldn’t wrestle for the rest of the match. He was taken out of the cage and helped up the ramp.

Blackpool Combat Club won the match after “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard tapped out to a sharpshooter, courtesy of Claudio Castagnoli. As of this writing, AEW have not provided an update on Santana’s condition.
