John Cena is a 16-time World Champion and was the face of the company throughout the PG era. Since 2017, Cena transitioned into the role of a part-timer as his Hollywood obligations took most of his time. Cena is also overwhelmed by all the supportive messages he’s received from WWE and AEW stars.

The Leader of Cenation finally returned on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. WWE ran a couple of pre-recorded video messages from current superstars and also veterans. This included AEW stars Paul Wight, Chris Jericho and Bryan Danielson.

The entire episode focused on John Cena and he made it clear how much the WWE meant to him. As such, Cena took to Twitter and stated that it was overwhelmed by all the supportive messages from WWE and AEW stars.

Overwhelmed with ALL the messages thru this month. Being at #WWERaw last night gave me an opportunity to show you how much YOU mean to me. Thank you@WWE for every chance you’ve taken on me, so I will continue to always give my best for my home, for my family, for US.

John Cena stated that he will return to the ring but is not sure when. It is likely he will be back in time for a program with Austin Theory at SummerSlam. We’ll have to see how WWE will book their feud.
