John Cena and Randy Orton started in OVW before they made their main roster debut in 2002. The two crossed paths in what became a legendary rivalry in the world of pro wrestling.
Orton took to Twitter and posted a heartfelt message for Cena ahead of his huge return to Raw tonight. The Cenation leader will be at the sold-out Sames Auto Arena in Laredo, Texas to celebrate his 20 years with WWE.
“It was an honor to be your opponent so many times, but even more of an honor to be your friend, man. Hustle, Loyalty, Respect. Those aren’t just three words. Those aren’t just a gimmick. That’s you. You chose to live by those three words.
“You didn’t just put those words on a different color t-shirt every other week. You chose to live that way, and it was motivating to watch man, a sight to behold. And, you made us all better for it.”
Cena dropped an interesting tease ahead of his much-anticipated return to Raw this week. The Cenation leader took to his Instagram and uploaded a photo of Seth Rollins. We’ll have to wait and see if the two have a match on Raw this week.
