Christian Cage recently turned his back on Jungle Boy after serving as mentor to the former AEW tag champion. Cage insulted Jungle Boy’s family after hitting the Jurassic Express member with a conchairto. AEW has now announced that Christian will be appearing on this week’s Dynamite: Blood & Guts special to elaborate on the situation.

Jungle Boy is currently one of many on the inactive list for AEW due to injuries. The feud with Christian Cage will largely fall on the back of the former WWE and Impact star. Cage has already cut one seething promo on his former protege.

AEW announced the new segment on Twitter. Christian will appear live after last week’s shocking promo. Cage has also teased that he is trying to turn Luchasaurus on his former championship tag partner.

‘Following his betrayal of #JungleBoy (@boy_myth_legend) and his shocking comments last week, #ChristianCage (@Christian4Peeps) will appear Live on the #BloodAndGuts edition of Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite tomorrow night on @TBSNetwork at 8pm ET/7pm CT/8pm PT”

Only one other segment has been announced for Dynamite. That is the highly anticipated Blood & Guts match between Eddie Kingston, Santana & Ortiz, and the Blackpool Combat Club and the Jericho Appreciation Society. There should be no shortage of anger in Detroit this Wednesday night.

It will be interesting to see how Christian follows up the promo where he turned heel. If Jungle Boy can’t make the show due to his injury, Cage will have to continue to carry the early part of the rivalry. AEW fans will have to tune in Wednesday night to see what he has to say.

Announced Lineup For AEW Dynamite: Blood & Guts

  • Christian Cage appears live to talk about his betrayal of Jungle Boy
  • Jericho Appreciation Society (Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara, Jake Hager, Daniel Garcia, Matt Menard & Angelo Parker vs Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli, Santana & Ortiz, & Eddie Kingston) – Blood & Guts Match
