Jon Moxley Says Vince McMahon Would ‘Flip His Lid’ If He Watched His AEW Matches

Jon Moxley used to work in WWE from 2012 to 2019, where he was known as Dean Ambrose. Ambrose had a terrific career in WWE, where he won several titles. In the end, he left the company after frustrations with his booking. Moxley also made an interesting claim about Vince McMahon recently.

Having worked in WWE for so long, he is well aware of how the company functions. However, that doesn’t mean Jon Moxley is a fan of everything that goes on in the company.

Jon Moxley had also previously stated that his matches in WWE sucked after Vince McMahon scripted all of them. While speaking on The Sessions with Renee Paquette, Jon Moxley claimed that Vince McMahon would flip his lid if he saw Moxley’s current matches in AEW.

“Turns out all that stuff in WWE, they tell you a lot of stuff, you got to do this and this is the way it needs to be done, and there’s all this stuff that’s just totally wrong and is demonstrably wrong now with AEW on a national level,” Jon Moxley said. “‘Oh, you’re doing too much or whatever. You’re not selling…grab a hold!’ You know all this f**king s**t. Like there’s so many matches I have now that I know I literally couldn’t do in WWE, Vince would just flip his lid.”

Jon Moxley won the Interim AEW World Championship in the main event of AEW Forbidden Door, as he defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi in a solid match. It remains to be seen how he will be booked as the champion in the coming weeks.
