Seth Rollins’ time in promotions such as Ring Of Honor certainly helped him hone his craft before making his way to WWE. Rollins’ current obnoxious heel character never fails to annoy fans. On top of that, Rollins really doesn’t do scripted promos as such, just like Roman Reigns.

Seth Rollins faced off against Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship to kick off the Royal Rumble event. The Visionary played mind games with Reigns as he brought back the Shield gimmick for the match.

The match ended in disqualification as Roman Reigns choked out Rollins without letting him go, leading to Rollins winning the match. Rollins has usually beaten Reigns in big matches, with wins over him at WrestleMania 31 and Money in the Bank 2016.

Rollins took to Twitter and commented on a New York Post article, which had the headline, “Seth Rollins is on an all-time WWE run — maybe even better than Roman Reigns.” Rollins then claimed that he is even better than Reigns.

Cut the “maybe” and you’d have a correct headline.

Seth Rollins is currently set to take part in the Money In The Bank ladder match. We’ll have to see if he will win the match and end up facing Reigns again for the titles.
