Andrade El Idolo made a name for himself working in CMLL in Mexico as well as New Japan Pro Wrestling. He then honed his craft in WWE and eventually made his way to AEW. He also Andrade El Idolo also revealed a huge match that was ultimately scrapped.

Andrade El Idolo recently expressed his frustration with being unable to work for New Japan Pro Wrestling. He put the blame on rival Lucha promotions Lucha Libre AAA and CMLL. 

Konnan would then call him out for lying about it as well. While speaking with Lucha Libre Online, where he revealed the cancelled plans for the Forbidden Door event. He revealed he was supposed to face the current IWGP US Champion Will Ospreay at the Forbidden Door.

Andrade says he was supposed to face Will Ospreay on Forbidden Door, was schedule to go to Japan to set it up, and then it was stopped.

Andrade most recently worked for AAA at TripleMania XXX: Monterrey in April, where he teamed with Deonna Purrazzo and Cibernetico in trios action against Bandido, Pagano, and Taya Valkyrie. We’ll have to see what is next in store for Andrade.
