Sheamus Would Love To Slap Around Gunther

Sheamus has had a great career in WWE, winning multiple championships during his time in the company. He is also not afraid to share his thoughts on WWE’s decisions. He also wants to slap around Gunther.

Gunther had an amazing run in NXT UK as he became the longest-reigning champion in modern WWE by holding the NXT UK Title for a record 870 days. He made his way to the main roster this year and became the Intercontinental Champion as well.

While speaking with The Five Count, Sheamus revealed that he wants to square off against Gunther to win the Intercontinental Champion and become a grand slam champion. He also just wants to slap Gunther around.

“Honestly, I want to wrestle whatever the IC champion is. That’s my goal and first priority to get the Intercontinental title. Otherwise, what talent-wise goes, there’s a lot of guys coming in, you got Walter (Gunther) coming in. He’s a good hard-hitting prospect, like it’s good to get in there and slap him around.”

WWE is clearly high on Gunther right now. It remains to be seen whether he and Sheamus will duke it out in the future. It would be a stiff fight that fans would love to see.
