Former WWE Champion and United States Champion Sheamus has had a great career in the company, winning multiple championships during his time in the company. He is also not afraid to share his thoughts on WWE’s decisions. It seems Vince McMahon did not like Sheamus’ original theme song.

Sheamus has certainly accomplished a lot during his time in the company and has earned the respect of his fans and peers alike. When Sheamus made his debut, his theme song was Written In My Face, performed by Sean Jenness.

It was ultimately replaced and it seems there is a reason for that. While speaking with Daily DDT, Sheamus revealed that Vince McMahon hated his original theme song.

“When I came back I really wanted to bring that song [Written In My Face] back, but it was shot down. Vince hates it, some other people didn’t like it or didn’t agree, but it’s very nostalgic. I haven’t given up on it. I guarantee you I will get that song back, I just don’t know when, and nobody is going to know when, but I will get a chance to bring it back.”

Sheamus also has a goal of becoming the first ultimate WWE Grand Slam Champion. We will have to wait and see whether Sheamus will ever get his old theme song back or not.
