Cody Rhodes Proves He Still Has Double Or Nothing Throne With Epic Photo Drop

Cody Rhodes wanted to send message during his entrance at AEW’s inaugural event. The American Nightmare infamously smashed Triple H-style throne with a sledgehammer before wrestling his brother, Dustin Rhodes. It was one of the most memorable scenes from Double or Nothing 2019.

Rhodes’ entrance music famously starts with the line, “Wrestling has more than one royal family.” This is a knock against the McMahons, to whom Triple H is related through his marriage to Stephanie McMahon. Cody just shared an adorable picture of the next generation of Rhodes’ taking her spot on the throne.

Cody Rhodes captioned his Twitter post with part of that famous line from his music. In the photo, Liberty sits on the famous prop. Several names from the world of wrestling chimed in, surprised to see that he still had the throne.

Cody Rhodes and Brandi Rhodes welcomed little Liberty to the world last June. Now that she’s big enough to sit on her own, it looks like she’s got a new favorite chair. It might take her some time to grow into it, though.

Former AEW Women’s World Champion Nyla Rose popped up in the comments to ask why she hasn’t been allowed to sit on the chair. Cody replied that it just got back from being repaired. He welcomed Nyla to stop by for an Instagram session any time she wanted.

Cody Rhodes has had quite a journey since that night in 2019. He has become a father to a beautiful baby girl. Cody also jumped ship to WWE, where he became an instant top babyface before suffering a horrific pectoral injury that will keep him out of action for an extended period. Fortunately, Cody has his family at home to keep him occupied while he recovers.
