Seth Rollins became the first person to qualify for the 2022 Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match this week on RAW. Rollins put on a banger of a performance against an equally-impressive AJ Styles.

Despite a solid effort from the Phenomenal One, the Visionary managed to pull up a win. Backstage, Rollins was in a very happy mood. He talked about the Men’s MITB Ladder match, before seemingly taking a subtle job at a former WWE star, who’s also synonymous with the historic match.

“It’ a party tonight baby (laughs). A party, we did it. Money in the Bank, I’m in. I’ll see (it) in Vegas). It’s my mach. That’s my match. I invented that match. I patented that match. Maybe, I didn’t invent it, but I’m know for it and it’s my thing.”

For those not in the know, the whole MITB concept was (kayfabe) introduced by Chris Jericho way back in 2005. Jericho pitched the idea to then-RAW GM Eric Bischoff who made the match official for WrestleMania 21.
