AEW and NJPW are holding a big joint event on June 26th, but some stars will not be allowed on the show. This is due to politics between Mexico’s AAA and NJPW.

We previously reported that Andrade won’t be able to work with NJPW due to pre-existing relationship with AAA. He later tweeted and deleted something about not getting paid as well.

According to sources close to luchablog, Andrade will not be appearing at Forbidden Door later this month. He is not alone, because the Lucha Brothers will also not be appearing on Forbidden Door.

The exact reason for this was not noted, but it seems to be a political issue. CMLL’s working relationship with New Japan appears to be the reason why those AAA affiliated talent cannot perform at the big Chicago event.

Keep checking back with Ringside News for more information as we get closer to the big event. There will likely be many dream matches arranged for the show, but some stars on the AEW roster appear to be off limits.
