Trish Stratus Claims Chair Shot Spot With Victoria Was A Turning Point For Women In WWE

Trish Stratus is considered one of the most important female WWE Superstars in the history of the company. For many fans and peers, Stratus is truly significant when it comes to the overall development of the women’s division in WWE.

Stratus was seen as a sex symbol during the Attitude Era and this didn’t always go well for her. This included the infamous dog barking segment with Vince McMahon.

While on Busted Open Podcast, Trish Stratus was asked what moment she thought resulted in the company looking at the women’s division with more importance. She mentioned the chair shot spot with Victoria back in 2002.

Someone talked about the chair shot that Victoria and I did and it was like the chair shot like one simple chair shot and there were meetings about it, there were people discussing. I feel like that was the deal, we were kind of turning the corner.”

Trish Stratus also wants to make a return to WWE in an authority role. Becky Lynch vs Lita made Stratus want to make a WWE comeback as well. We’ll have to see when she’ll return.
