Reigns will defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Riddle next Friday on SmackDown. The Original Bro defeated Sami Zayn with an RKO to earn the title shot against Reigns.

The stipulation was that if Riddle lost he’d be barred from SmackDown. The victory got him a date with the top dog next Friday on the blue brand. Before the match, Paul Heyman implied Sami needed to win the match at any cost. Heyman was also on commentary for Sami’s match against Riddle.
