Cody Rhodes parted ways with WWE back in 2016 and after that, he underwent a severe change in character and in-ring psychology. He became a better wrestler thanks to his time in NJPW and ROH, before going to AEW. Mick Foley has a high opinion of Cody Rhodes.

Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins engaged in a feud since Rhodes returned at WrestleMania 38. The two have competed thrice and all of their matches have received great praise.

Cody Rhodes had been booked as a huge star upon his return as well. While speaking during the latest episode of his podcast “Foley is Pod,” Mick Foley stated that Cody Rhodes deserves credit for leaving WWE on his own.

I think people should give Cody a lot of credit for leaving WWE on his own because he believed he was capable of more.

Cody Rhodes is expected to miss half year of in-ring action due to his torn pectoral muscle. Ringside News exclusively reported that the entire RAW brand’s creative was changed due to this. We’ll have to see when he’ll return.
