Cody Rhodes was set to square off against Seth Rollins in the main event of Hell In A Cell. Rhodes knew just how important this match was for him and he wouldn’t miss it for anything. He also cut a very emotional promo after the end of the event.

Despite suffering from a torn pectoral muscle, Rhodes toughed it out and squared off against Seth Rollins. Fans were simply in awe of Cody Rhodes’ grit and tenacity. In the end, The American Nightmare ended up winning the match as well.
After WWE Hell In A Cell went off the air, Cody Rhodes cut an emotional promo for the fans in attendance. Rhodes made it clear he was appreciative of the fans and would compete while injured no matter what.
”It is solely my decision to compete with a torn pec. You would have to literally kill me from staying away from the ring, 10 times out of 10, I’d have made the same decision. You guys that believed in me, from the bottom of the heart I believe in you, we’re all going to finish this thing. Thank you all very much, I love you.”
Even Brandi Rhodes never imagined he’d be able to finish the match. We will have to wait and see how long it will take until Rhodes is completely healed. We’ll keep you updated on his status.
