Adam Cole had a hard-hitting match at Double or Nothing when he beat Samoa Joe. Now he is injured, but it’s not too bad this time around.

It turns out that while he was successful at Double or Nothing, Adam Cole did not leave the match unscathed. He suffered an injury that is still lingering for the former NXT Champion.

During Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez noted that Adam Cole suffered from some kind of shoulder injury. He didn’t mention what kind of injury he sustained.

Apparently, Cole’s issue isn’t too bad, because he is expected to be back in action by Jun 26th’s Forbidden Door event. Until that time he likely won’t wrestle, but that doesn’t mean he will be absent from television.

Ada Cole is in a good spot in AEW as he carries around the Owen Hart Foundation tournament championship belt. That is a title he will likely never have to defend, but it will look good in his trophy case at home.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
