Adam Page’s AEW World Title Run Ripped For Lacking ‘Glitz & Glamour’

Adam Page is one of the original stars of AEW and developed a deep connection with fans thanks to his solid character work. The Millennial Cowboy gained fanfare and become one of the most beloved stars in AEW. Adam Page’s AEW World Title run was also criticized for lacking glamour.

Adam Page became AEW World Champion after finally beating Kenny Omega last year at AEW Full Gear. Fans were happy for him but his reign ended up being a mixed bag for many.

While speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T talked about Adam Page’s World Title run. He criticized the title reign for lacking glitz and glamour.

“As far as Hangman Adam Page, he’s a damn good worker. I don’t think there was a highlight put on his title run. I don’t think he got any of the glitz and glamour.”

It’s almost like one of those things when you become the champion, but you’re not in the main event. You’re just on the show and you’re not the main event.”

We will have to wait and see what AEW will have in store for Adam Page once he comes back. Perhaps he will have another crack at the title somewhere down the line. Now Hangman has a chance to become Interim AEW World Champion to possibly have another shot with the title.
