MJF is certainly one of the best heels of this generation for many fans. He has already established himself as a main event level star despite not winning any major title in AEW yet. Tony Khan also admitted that MJF was a huge part of AEW’s success recently.

A lot of drama ensued between MJF and AEW before Double Or Nothing. It even came to the point that his match against Wardlow was in doubt, as many believed MJF was not even going to show up.

Thankfully, MJF would show up and do the job for Wardlow. While speaking to Andreas Hale on The Corner podcast, AEW President Tony Khan admitted MJF was a huge part of AEW’s success.

“I can’t…he’s been a big part of the company from day one, but I can’t really speculate on what he’s been saying about stuff that is unrelated to his match with Wardlow. It’s not related to what we’re talking about on television.

No, I’m not surprised, for a variety of reasons. Coming out of this weekend, as of now and everything he’s done in AEW, he’s been a huge part of the success of the company and he’s signed here for a long time. It’s 2022, and 2024 is a long way away.”

MJF will be appearing on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite and will cut promo. It remains to be seen what MJF will have to say as fans certainly can’t wait to hear from The Salt Of The Earth.
