Dakota Kai Unveils New Name & Look After WWE Release

Dakota Kai was one of the highlights of NXT television as she consistently put on solid matches during her time with the company. However, WWE released Dakota Kai from her NXT contract last month. Now Kai is already ready for her next stage in pro wrestling.

Dakota Kai had made it clear she is far from done when it comes to competing in the world of professional wrestling. In fact, she already filed the trademark for new ring name.

Dakota Kai took to Twitter and officially revealed her new name and even a new look. Kai confirmed she will now be known as King Kota going forward and sported a hairdo with a blend of pink, grey and black streaks.

For a long time now, fans have been calling for Dakota Kai to make her way to AEW. It remains to be seen what the future holds for the former WWE Superstar. She’ll be a great asset to any company she is a part of as well.
