AEW is set to put on Double or Nothing tomorrow night, but there is a big problem with one of the top talents in their locker room. MJF is supposed to take on Wardlow in Las Vegas, but he already has a flight out of town.

MJF no-showed the AEW fan fest event. Now Fightful has reported that AEW is remaining quiet about this situation. That being said, people are very unhappy.

A flight was also booked for MJF out of Las Vegas. It is unknown at this time what is going on and whether MJF was really on that flight.

AEW has remained quiet about the situation, not responding to inquiries for information or comment. The only sources within the company that would speak on the matter said that they were “very unhappy about how it all played out.” One AEW source said they heard that communication between the two sides had reached an all-time low. AEW talent and personnel were asked to not comment on the situation, and those we’ve spoken to have not heard back from him.

A flight for MJF out of Las Vegas across the country was booked for late Saturday night. Whether or not he gets on the plane remains to be seen. Neither side would confirm the reasoning for this when pressed. We have to reiterate, we’re not sure if he’s actually getting on the plane, but have confirmed a flight for him has been booked out of Vegas Saturday night.

MJF has been very vocal about his contract situation. It also seems like he was very real about some of the things he said about AEW. Perhaps there really is trouble in pro wrestling paradise right now. Keep checking back with Ringside News for more!
