Wardlow Wants To Work In Hollywood Like The Rock

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is one of the biggest celebrities in the world right now, which is something no one can deny. Johnson is also a dominant force in Hollywood and brings massive star power to any movie he is part of. He has inspired many pro wrestlers, including even Wardlow.

Wardlow has been one of the best things about AEW television in the last few months, largely because his growth has been organic and not forced at all. Wardlow has the looks and charisma to succeed in pro wrestling according to many as well.

While speaking to Inside The Ropes, Wardlow talked about his goals outside of professional wrestling. Wardlow revealed that he wants to follow in the footsteps of The Rock and make his way to Hollywood.

“And now obviously going on to acting in Hollywood, not many people can do that. So to be compared to that is awesome because that’s what I want to be. I want to be one of those guys down the road that you can count on one or two hands. I want Wardlow the name, in the mix. When you’re talking about Batista, when you’re talking about John Cena, when you talk about Dwayne Johnson, The Rock, you’re going to be talking about Wardlow as well.”

Wardlow also admitted that his rise in AEW exceeded even his own expectations. He is set to face off against Shawn Spears in a steel cage match on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. We’ll have to see how Wardlow will fare in the match.
