Cody Rhodes Says Matches Against Seth Rollins Were ‘Pure Wrestling’

Cody Rhodes departed from AEW earlier this year and it became a huge topic of discussion for many. He made his way to WWE at WrestleMania 38 and defeated Seth Rollins in a solid match. Rhodes is a huge fan of his matches with Seth Rollins as well.

It did not stop there as Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes further intensified their rivalry after WrestleMania 38. It ended with them duking it out at WrestleMania Backlash.

Even there, Cody Rhodes won the match. Their encounters received a ton of props as well. While speaking on  a recent interview with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Cody Rhodes stated that his matches with Seth Rollins were pure wrestling.

Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes are set to square off against each other at Hell InA Cell next month. We’ll have to see whether Cody Rhodes will win again and have a clean sweep over Rollins. Fans are looking forward to the match as well.
