Former Authors of Pain Gzim Selmani and Sunny Dhinsa are hard at work in setting up the first show for their Wrestling Entertainment Series wrestling promotion. The first show is already set for Saturday June, 4th. Now it seems a familiar voice will be providing commentary for the upcoming show.

WES tweeted today that The Coach will be providing commentary along with Matthew Rehwoldt. This will be the first time Coach has return to wrestling commentary since 2018. His addition to WES commentary certainly will give long time wrestling fans a sense of familiarity.

WES is coming along pretty strong as the card for the first show features the likes of Nia Jax, Deonna Purrazzo and CJ Perry(formerly known as Lana). It wasn’t all that long ago that both Selmani and Dhinsa were released from their WWE contracts in 2020. Their first show is looking to be quite an impressive one as it’s being held in the Motorpoint Arena, an arena which can hold approximately 10,000 people.

Long time WWE fans would remember Coach for being the hellish commentator on Raw and Eric Bishop’s lackey when Bischoff was Raw General Manager. Coach made the transition to ESPN in 2008 and has since been one of the voices on SportsCenter. With his return now announced for WES, who knows what this new promotion has in store for fans.
