Naomi Was Not Planned To Pin Sasha Banks On RAW Before Walkout

Sasha Banks and Naomi were supposed to be part of a six-pack challenge on RAW this week, but things didn’t turn out that way. The Boss and The Glow both walked out of the building as RAW started this week.

According to Fightful Select, Naomi was slated to win the six-pack challenge and get a RAW Women’s Title shot at Hell in a Cell. Some have floated the assumption that Naomi was supposed to pin Banks, but that is not the case.

The working plan with the match was for Naomi to pin Nikki ASH, not Naomi pinning Sasha Banks as speculated.

WWE released an official statement on the matter where they really aired out dirty laundry. It was noted in the report that any talk of Banks and Naomi feeling that other competitors in the six-pack challenge are “unsafe” was not heard by talent until the release dropped.

We will have to see what’s next in this situation, but Banks and Naomi certainly made a statement this week on RAW without even being on the show.
