Original Plan For WWE RAW Before Sasha Banks & Naomi Walked Out

Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out during RAW when they did not appreciate the creative direction of the show. Now we know what WWE’s plan was before the fallout.

According to Fightful Select, it is unknown what part Naomi had in this situation. The fact is that she left with her tag tam partner, Sasha Banks. This walkout happened “near the start of the show.”

It is reported that segments were “hastily produced” to arrange the new Becky Lynch vs Asuka match instead of the six-pack challenge. It was actually in the cards for Naomi to win that match and secure a future title match against Bianca Belair.

It’s worth noting that as of the time that the WWE Raw rundowns went out, there was no assigned producer or referee for the main event match. It was also highlighted in red, indicating a change could be happening. 

WWE made sure that fans knew about this situation. Corey Graves threw some serious shade at Banks and Naomi by calling their actions unprofessional.
