Adam Page Criticized For His Poor Promo Skills In CM Punk Feud

Adam Page is one of the homegrown stars of AEW and developed a deep connection with fans thanks to his relatable character work. Page became the AEW World Champion after finally defeating Kenny Omega last year at AEW Full Gear. However, there are also those who do not necessarily like Adam Page, especially for his promo skills.

Adam Page has feuded against the likes of Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole and more during his run as the AEW World Champion. He started a feud with CM Punk and it has become one of the highlights of AEW programming.

While speaking on “The Jim Cornette Experience,” Jim Cornette talked about Adam Page’s feud with CM Punk He criticized Page for his poor promo skills, mentioning Page’s scathing promo against Punk from few weeks prior.

“Let’s face it, that’s been a disaster. Which is why we speculated, okay, did they just throw up their hands and say ‘switch this bland boring little b**** heel’? But it just happened that he blurted out like he had tourettes in one night, and then this is what he comes up with, or somebody comes up with it for him. It is simply marks talking to marks.”

Many fans are already growing frustrated with Adam Page’s world title run already. We will have to wait and see whether CM Punk will be able to defeat Adam Page at AEW Double Or Nothing on May 29th.
