WWE Hall Of Famer Bret Hart’s contributions to the pro wrestling industry cannot be understated. He has helped shape the careers of generations of pro wrestlers after him. Tony Khan also confirmed that Hart isn’t returning to AEW right now.

For quite a while now, AEW has teased the arrival of Bret Hart on Dynamite and Rampage. This further strengthened after Bret Hart was revealed to be managing FTR for an upcoming event.

As previously reported, Hart had only signed a merchandise deal with WWE. In fact, Bret Hart then himself stated that he is simply happy being at home for the time being in response to AEW rumors.

While speaking with TSN, Tony Khan confirmed that Bret Hart will not be returning to AEW right now. Khan added that if Hart is part of AEW in the future, everyone would respect him.

“Not right now. I think Bret himself said that. First of all, we have a great respect for Bret Hart as a company and as individuals. A lot of the wrestlers here and myself respect Bret Hart as a great person and a great wrestler. He would always be somebody we would treasure whenever he’s around. He was involved in the first Double or Nothing. He said he’s happy at home right now.” 

Bret Hart will be managing FTR during an indie event as well. It remains to e seen whether Bret Hart will make his way to AEW in the future. Fans would love to see him in the company.
