Jeff Hardy has accomplished lot in every company he has worked in. Hardy has competed against the best of the best in the pro wrestling world and been part of numerous memorable moments. He also met Tony Khan at Ric Flair and his now-ex Wendy Barlow’s Anniversary party.
The Charismatic Enigma has worked in various companies over the years, including WWE, TNA, ROH and now AEW. Hardy is loving AEW and he has Ric Flair to thank for his first meeting with Tony Khan.
While speaking with AEW Unrestricted, Jeff Hardy revealed that he met Tony Khan at Ric Flair’s party and credited him for making the meet happen.
“I met Tony Khan at Ric Flair’s anniversary party with Wendy.”
“He said, ‘I own this company called AEW.’ I was like, ‘What? You’re that guy?’ We had such a good time over that weekend. It was amazing. I love Ric Flair like crazy.”
“Because of Ric, I met Tony early on, but before the 90 days, we didn’t talk at all.”
Jeff Hardy is currently teaming up with his brother Matt Hardy in AEW, as the two are likely to end their tag team in the company. He also struggles to balance family life and pro wrestling as well. We’ll have to see whether Hardy will win the Owen Hart tournament or not.
