AEW Fans Believe Johnny Gargano & Candice LeRae Are Entering Owen Hart Tournament

Candice LeRae’s WWE contract has officially expired. The former NXT star is now free agent. Interestingly, her husband, Johnny Gargano has been available for some time after also leaving NXT.

When the news broke of Candice LeRae’s impending free agency, fans immediately began to speculate. Many expect the couple to be a package deal. AEW happens to have a major tournament where there will be at least one surprise competitor.

Twitter exploded with discussion of whether AEW will bring in Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae for the “Joker” spot in the upcoming Owen Hart tournament. There has not been confirmation that the women’s tournament will have a Joker, but that hasn’t stopped wrestling fans from going wild over the possibility.

Time will tell if Tony Khan is interested in signing Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae. If there does turn out to be a Joker in the women’s Owen Hart tournament, it would make a lot of sense. There is a ton of potential, and many AEW fans are excited about the idea.
