WWE is hitting some huge stadiums with several upcoming premium live events. The company will present Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, UK along with SummerSlam in Nashville and Money in the Bank in Las Vegas. All three events will be held in enormous venues with a big fight feel.

Those events could be the perfect opportunity to showcase WWE’s up-and-coming talent. NXT special events used to be a staple for major WWE premium live events like WrestleMania and SummerSlam. The developmental brand has only been on the road for one event since the COVID-19 pandemic. That could soon be changing.

WrestleVotes has reported that WWE discussed adding another NXT: Stand & Deliver event to one of the upcoming stadium shows. The preference appears to be for the UK show. However, practical considerations could make SummerSlam in Nashville more likely.

“WWE has discussed adding another Stand & Deliver event for one of the 3 big stadium shows happening this summer. I’ve heard the preference is UK for Clash at the Castle, but Nashville/SummerSlam seems more likely. All TBD still.”

NXT fans have been excited to see their favorite show get back on the road. It would greatly benefit many of the young talents from NXT to work in front of a crowd that isn’t the same 250 fans in Orlando. This could be a break-out moment for many of them.

We will have to wait and see if WWE decides to pull the trigger on an NXT event for one of the stadium shows. There are plenty of considerations to account for, including venue availability and fan interest. If things work out, NXT 2.0 could be back on the road for a big show very soon.
