Malakai Black was released by WWE last year and this took the pro wrestling world by surprise. After debuting in AEW, Black immediately became a threat after decimating Cody Rhodes. Jim Cornette also criticized The House Of Black recently.

Black eventually introduced The House Of Black alongside Brody King and Buddy Matthews. The faction has become one of the highlights of AEW television lately.

As seen on last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the House of Black tried to remove Fuego Del Sol’s mask. However, Death Triangle made their return and put a stop to their plans.

While speaking on his podcast, Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette shared his thoughts on The House Of Black. Cornette criticized the group, joking that even the company knows their gimmick is sub-standard. This is why they’re always hiding Black and his cohorts in the shadows.

“Maybe this is why they’re constantly in the dark, because they know that it sucks and they don’t want people to get a good close look at it so that’s why they’re always in the dark. Let’s cover that sh*t up, don’t. Here you’re trying to sell this sub-standard product, control the lighting, subdued lighting. Just do not let anyone get a close look at it.”

Now that The House Of Black is currently feuding with Death Triangle on AEW television, it remains to be seen how their feud will be booked in the coming weeks. We’ll circle back to this and see if Cornette has a change of tune.
