MVP made his WWE comeback during the 2020 Royal Rumble event, which certainly surprised fans. It was originally going to be a one-off appearance but MVP decided to stick with the company. He also claims responsibility for turning Bobby Lashley into a main event star.
Earlier this month on Monday Night RAW, MVP returned to WWE television. In a shocking turn of events, MVP betrayed Bobby Lashley and signed himself with Omos.
Since then MVP and Omos have been feuding, with MVP guiding Omos. While speaking on The Bump this week, MVP claimed that he is the reason why Bobby Lashley became a main event star.
“Throughout my career, everywhere I have been, I have been a champion. I know how to win. And I’ve shown that with Bobby Lashley, who was floundering in the mid-card till I came into his life and his career. And I unlocked his inner potential to raise him up to the level that he resides at now. Bobby, two-time WWE Champion. Before I came back, he was never that and I will use those same strategies and skills that I have to elevate Omos to that level. Omos is a future WWE Champion and I am definitely putting the entire WWE Universe on notice.”
MVP and Omos are set to square off against each other at WrestleMania Backlash next month. We’ll have to wait and see who will end up winning the match.
