WWE will be holding the first-ever NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament in two weeks time. The company announced the event during tonight’s episode of NXT 2.0. Arianna Grace is the only competitor announced so far for the tournament. Lash Legend later said she is in the tournament.

WWE has been holding the Men’s Breakout Tournament since 2019 and it’s the first time the company has revealed a Women’s Breakout Tournament. For those not in the know, Carmelo Hayes won the last Men’s Breakout Tournament.

The Women’s Breakout Tournament seems to be WWE’s reimagining of the Mae Young Classic. WWE held two back-to-back Mae Young Classic events in 2017 and 2018.
