Becky Lynch believes WWE has the best women’s division on the planet. For many fans, that sentiment rings true, as WWE has created major stars out of several women’s competitors. AEW has been receiving criticism about its women’s division since day one.

While WWE has seven hours of weekly television not counting streaming and premium live events, AEW only has three. That means WWE has a lot more opportunities to showcase its female talents. Becky was harshly critical of AEW for not finding room for their women to work.

In an interview with Drew Garabo, Big Time Becks opened up about her thoughts on the AEW women’s ranks. Lynch said AEW simply isn’t as good. She also criticized the promotion for their lack of representation.

“I wish I could say ‘yes,’ but, unfortunately, I don’t think they are represented the way we are. They don’t get as much time as we get and frankly, they’re not as good as we are.

We have, certainly on Raw, we have the best women’s division in the world. I say that without any hesitation in my voice. We have the best women’s division in the world.

Competition is great and it’s great for there to be another place and I have a very good friend, Ruby Soho, over there and I would love to see her as champion one day. I would love to see her get the spotlight she deserves. Competition is always great. Over here, we’re on another level.”

Becky Lynch recently lost the WWE Raw Women’s Championship and had to make her first appearance on Raw in a long time without a belt. Asuka returned to Raw, further bolstering Becky’s claim of a talent gap. We will have to wait and see if AEW decides to start including more than one women’s match per show.
