AEW brought a lot of bigger names into the company within the past year. Samoa Joe has worked for practically every pro wrestling company on the planet and he has a way of dealing with fans as well. This is something he likely adopted while honing his craft in every conceivable environment.

Samoa Joe recently spoke to the New York Post about many things, including his current pro wrestling home. He also shared his opinion on fans’ reaction to recent controversial AEW segment.

Satnam Singh’s AEW debut was not met with the best reaction. Samoa Joe had something to say about that criticism, and he thinks that fans harping on it is ridiculous.

“I think hemming and hawing over minor things like that are ridiculous. I understand people have their opinions and feel a certain way about it, but I personally think it’s silly to sit here and continue to harp on it.”

Tony Khan admitted that turning out the lights for Singh’s debut was not his idea, but he went along with it anyway. We’ll have to see if he learned anything from going to he well too many times when it comes to turning the lights off, but the next time there is a blackout on AEW television is will probably mean a lot more.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
