It’s Tuesday night and that means a brand new episode of WWE NXT for April 19th, and Ringside News has you covered with live play-by-play results coverage. Start time for NXT is at 8:00 PM EST. Match-by-match highlights and results from the show will take place on this very page. Feel free to leave any reactions in the comment section below.

Tonight’s NXT has a total of three matches announced ahead of time, the first of which sees Natalya wrestle to NXT for (I think) the first time since 2013. The B.O.A.T returned to NXT last week and took a shot at Cora Jade before putting the whole female roster on notice. Tonight she faces Tatum Paxley in what we expect will be a squash match.

The other matches tonight include Santos Escobar Vs. Carmelo Hayes, and the much anticipated showdown between Tiffany Stratton and NXT’s resident Power Ranger, Sarray. That’s all we know ahead of time but we expect to see more from Cameron Grimes, Bron Breakker, Joe Gacy, and the new NXT Tag Team Champions, Pretty Deadly.

And that’s the preview for tonight’s NXT. Our live coverage will begin from 8PM right here. Let us know if you’re excited about any of it and remember to hit the refresh link below and enjoy the show!

NXT 2.0

This week’s show opens with the new NXT Tag Taem Champions, Pretty Deadly, making their way to the ring. While they’re on their way we see Bron Breakker entering the building.

Elton Prince says last week Pretty Deadly burst through the door of NXT and took the show by storm. Kit Wilson says they dominated NXT UK but they decided that scene was pretty drab, so they came to America and took the titles on their first night. And they beat the four best teams to do it. The Grizzled Young Veterans come out and they’re angry that they didn’t even get in the title match last week.

Gibson says the only reason Pretty Deadly had any success in NXT UK is because they left. Drake says they are sick of waiting at the back of the line, they’re taking what they want. Legado del Fantasma’s music hits and Elektra Lopez comes out talking but Wilde and Mendoza rush past her and attack the Veterans. Pretty Deadly get involved and they all just fight off into the ether.

Bron Breakker comes through the crowd and over the barricade. He gets in the ring and says Joe Gacy wants to know what he’s made of, well how about he come out with his father’s Hall of Fame ring and he’ll show him. Joe Gacy appears on the big screen and tells Breakker he’s not a hard man to find, so come get him and Breakker walks to the back.

We see a video of Santos Escobar talking about Carmelo Hayes from his home. He says Hayes was never worthy of being the North American Championship and he needs to go to the back of the line. Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes are backstage and Hayes says Escobar is in a league of his own but he’s crazy if he thinks he wasn’t worthy. He doesn’t go to the back of the line, he created the line! Hayes says tonight Santos becomes the first casualty of his return to the top.

The match gets underway and they get in each others faces and talk trash. Sarray swings, Stratton ducks and grabs a wrist but Sarray flips out and hits an arm-drag. Stratton holds Sarray down but she starts to fight up and hits a dropkick to the knee, followed by a German suplex. Sarray goes to the middle rope and lands a double stomp, then puts Stratton down against the bottom rope and hits her hanging dropkick.

Stratton rolls out of the ring, so Sarray has to go out and bring her back in. Sarray grabs Stratton from behindbut she holds onto the ropes to prevent being suplexed, then headbutts Sarray off. Stratton hits a spinning Vader Bomb in the corner and scores the pinfall!

Grizzled Young Veterans are backstage when Bron Breakker barges through them looking for Joe Gacy. Breakker hears his father’s voice and follows it into the room where Gacy and Harland had him caged. The voice is coming from a phone on a chair inside the cage, which replays the end of the show two weeks ago. Breakker hits the chair with a pipe and storms off.

Persia and Indi then reveal it’s really for their men, Duke Hudson and Dexter Lumis, and Pretty Deadly back off.

Grayson Waller is interviewed backstage and he says he had everyone believing he was injured. He even had little old ladies carrying his bags at the supermarket. He says he dropped the daedweight that was Sanga because he’s the reason they didn’t win last week. Andra Chase and Bodhi Hayward appear and argue with Waller for a moment until Sanga busts through a door. Waller runs off and Sanga chases him to the ring where Waller tells the referee to ring the bell for some reason.

Grayson Waller Vs. Sanga

Natalya is stopped backstage for an interview. She says Cora Jade loves to play the victim but last week wasn’t an attack, she was acting in self-defence. Every woman that blossoms in NXT comes up to the main roster and tries to use her as a stepping stone. Instead of waiting for Cora to come take her legs out from under her, she came to get ahead of it. Nikkia Lyons appears and says Natalya’s come down and thinks she’s hot stuff but as soon as she’s done with Lash Legend she’s coming for her.
