AEW star Jack Evans has been having bit of a hard time lately. Evans had a series of unpleasant interactions with law enforcement in Mexico. Now, Evans has provided an update on his future in AEW.

Most recently, Jack Evans revealed that he will be leaving AEW at the end of the month. Evans joined the label in 2019 and has mostly been seen on the Dark performances. Evans made headlines last December when he claimed that Mexican cops were extorting him.

My time with #AEW has been a fun and enjoyable but it has come to an end as I will not be re-signed when my contract ends at the end of April. I’d like to thank everyone at AEW and the AEW fans for the opportunity.

A few weeks later, he posted a video on social media claiming that cops attempted to extort him once more. Evans last competed in an AEW match in February, losing to Wheeler Yuta on AEW Dark. On the most recent Dark tapings, his tag team partner Angelico wrestled.
