WWE often changes up a talent’s name. Odds are any indie wrestler won’t be able to keep their real or indie name when they receive main roster summons. It appeared that WWE was switching up more names, but that’s not the case.

Social media has been buzzing with rumors about NXT 2.0 superstars Dakota Kai and Indi Hartwell getting their names changed change soon, but that doesn’t appear to be the case, for now.

Dakota was rumored to be renamed Clarice Riverz while Hartwell was supposedly repackaged to be Indiana Hallow. According to Fightful Select, however, there is no truth to the rumors about the stars getting their names changed.

PW Insider earlier reported that both Kacy Catanzaro and Kay Lee Ray will be getting their names changed in near future. Katana Chance will be Catanzaro’s new name. Alba Fyre will be the new name for KLR.

WALTER (now Gunther), Marcel Barthel (Ludwig Kaiser), Raquel Gonzalez (Raquel Rodriquez), and Raul Mendoza (Cruz Del Toro) are some of the stars that have been repackaged in the past several days. We will have to see if more names get changes, but Dakota Kai and Indie Hartwell seem to be safe for now.
