Matt Cardona was known as Zack Ryder during his time in WWE as he worked hard to establish himself in the company. Cardona was insanely over in WWE at one point in time, but he never quite reached the top of the mountain. Cardona also trolled Vince McMahon recently.

The former WWE Superstar was not used to the best of his abilities until his release as part of the COVID-19 budget cuts in 2020. Cardona truly reinvented himself after his release as well.

He has made his mark in promotions such as Impact Wrestling, GCW and NWA, among others. Cardona has managed to win several championships since then. Cardona took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of himself holding 7 titles. He reflected on how much he accomplished after his WWE release.

He included a text graphic that told his story. It was two years ago that WWE release him. The company didn’t fire anyone this year on April 15th, but Cardona is proof that leaving WWE isn’t the end of the road.
