John Cena is a 16-time World Champion and carried the company on his back throughout the PG era. He eventually adopted a part-time schedule due to his obligations in Hollywood. Cena inspired many current WWE Superstars and that included even Austin Theory.

Austin Theory has seen a lot of growth over the course of a year. After honing his skills in NXT as part of The Way with Johnny Gargano, Theory returned to the main roster. Since then he has been under the tutelage of Vince McMahon.

While speaking with Mark Andrew on the podcast, My Love Letter To Wrestling, Austin Theory revealed how John Cena helped him get through childhood bullying.

”Cena’s character and his personality and the things he did and the decisions he made, I can honestly say that it made me feel motivated through you know being bullied and stuff in school, just other stuff like that.”
